Problems with adding Videos to covers and some other stuffs

Hi~ I'm a newbie that has just started covering not long ago (Thanks to some fab friends <3), and may I ask some questions regarding covers and mixing? If this has already been discussed I'm sorry and please link me to the thread thanks~

1. How to put videos in your covers without the original vocal? I've only put pictures in my covers so far and wanted to put a video on my next ones >.<

2. How to remove vocals from a song? I already searched Google and Youtube for it but the methods are all the same. By using the Invert effect. But it doesn't seem to keep the original quality.. If it's really impossible to remove the vocal and keep the good quality, then all is fine. I just wanted to know if anybody has removed a vocal before but tried something different from Invert.

3. Sorry for the trouble but can somebody link me the download link for GSnap (Auto-Tuning) for Audacity and tell me how to install it in? I got a link from YT and downloaded it but it seems Audacity refused to show the GSnap option on the effects setting.

4. Also, just an additional question. Does anybody have a site they often use to convert audio? (Because I use phone to record and the format is in .m4a and I need to convert it to .wav) I used audio.online-convert.com but it seems lately it occasionaly goes error and it takes a lot of time just to convert a file.

Thank you for your time! I really, really appreciate it! ^^

1. To insert videos, you need to download the original video first and them combine it with your vocals (this is called "muxing"). Assuming you already have the video in your computer, you just need a muxing program. There are several popular programs such as mkvmergeGUI, Avidemux, MeGUI, and XViD, so you should look around on forums and see what works best for your computer.

2. There is no foolproof way to remove vocals or else it would be all over the google search. Utaite typically get their instrumental tracks from the producer of the song, who usually distributes the tracks via piapro or their personal website. Links to instrumental tracks are 90% of the time found in the description of the song on NND. If you're covering a song that doesn't have a publicly released instrumental track, keep in mind that you can also use an instrumental cover as the background for your cover.

3. Sorry, can't help you there since I don't use GSnap, but "I downloaded it off YT" shows that you aren't looking in the right places. If you find it on YT, chances are that the uploader is not the person who created it. Find the source of GSnap and download the latest build. Also, if you google "gsnap audacity" you can find some help threads.

4. Audacity's "export as" option is able to convert to .wav. Audacity can also open m4a files, though you might need to do something in the settings. Just google "open m4a in audacity".

Another suggestion for your 1st question if you're using PC: I download the video online, then I open up Windows Movie Maker and import the video. I mute the video's volume, import the audio file for my cover, and then save this new video so I can upload it to YouTube.
