In order to keep our directory updated, to gather status updates for pages such as the utaite pages, and to in the future automatically restructure the templates of our articles as need, I would like to request that we get the bot flag for Jun's bot: UWBot. Please reply with your comments/support/objections.
Edited for better wording and to reflect new account name.
We got the first task working.
As for the second task, I have more questions:
Thank you for your answers. I would like to approve a trial of 15 edits. After that, we'll review and continue our discussion.
As for task 3, I don't think that's worth the effort. It will require complex parsing of wiki pages, song types, and collab partners. You will also need a database dump and a redirect mapping. There may be ambiguities, and unspecified information in choruses. And while there aren't going to be as many malformatted pages due to the second script, there will be lots of special cases, such as multiple names for the same person or song. It will probably be best to take care of all that by hand.
Edit: Moved to Thread:10561
I have an additional bot task. I'd like to know if I, or someone else, can make the following AWB substitutions, as well as AWB's general fixes to every last one of our FUS pages:
*[[Shelley]] -> [[Shellah]] *[[SquaDus]]<br>(YT singer) -> [[SquaDus]] *[[SquaDus]] (YT singer) -> [[SquaDus]] #Remove empty lines after yt id lines *\|yt_id5 = (.*)\n\n\| -> |yt_id5 = $1\n| #Remove empty lines after nnd id lines *\|nnd_id5 = (.*)\n\n\| -> |nnd_id5 = $1\n| #Move the closing braces off of the singer line *\|singer5 = (.*)}} -> |singer5 = $1\n}}
Also, I'm going to want to know which account and who will do this, and how we are going to review the edits (we don't have standard trial periods yet, but we'll want to review them after 15 edits probably.)

If anyone wants to step forth and take care of this, go right ahead and make the first edit.
and also ultimate hai to ultimate high...
but is there a proof, that is should be romanized this way?
and illustrator to illustration on the fus
and Kokoriinu・Natade to Nata de Cocoline
and mainan to mainann
(could also be done manually; i'm just listing them here)
An anon changed it to ultimate high and I looked it up and agreed based on what I saw (which I don't remember now)
Nata de Coco is a popular drink snack thing in Japan so I based it off of that (it took forever to figure it out orz)
mainann was changed by I think mostly hirodo and her email etc are all mainann but I'm a but conflicted on this one because I'm pretty sure she wrote it like that because to write in her name typing "mainan" would not work; you have to double the n at the end so I think it may count as a matter of romanization (for example vipTenchou, who romanizes as ten tyo) In that case it should be Mainan. So I guess this one depends on popular vote.
hmmm an @wiki wrote it like this but idk how official this is... i mean his twitter is bigmaumau and nakajima and his nnd is nakajiam and idk... im just confused about this guy... but i guess ultimate high is logically better than hai.
about nata de coco i agree since er... her nnd pic... but how do u know "riinu" in this context is meant as "line"?
as for mainan... hmmm.... 3 of her depictions on her twitter bg say mainan and one mainann... but we dont know if she wrote mainann with 2 n on purpose..... orz.... but i would go with mainann
but for tenchou i think its different... since he romanized it tentyo and tencho and not explicitly one specific romanization... e_e
I'd strongly suggest organizing future discussion into a page like Utaite Wiki:Bot Approvals and Requests so that we don't jump back and forth between topics in the same thread. It might eventually get confusing.
but this discussion is more about standarization of names... we should open a thread in the forum bc of that... since it seems to be a common problem
What do you think?
