Since the link-checking edits currently require extra review, it would be misleading to call this script a bot script at the moment. Rather, we might want to label this task a page-at-a-time, semi-automated script, to be done without the use of the bot account. That is, until we are able to figure out how to make it capable of completing its tasks without the need for every edit to be reviewed with a second edit.
To help you accomplish this, it may be best to put this somewhere: http://utaite.wikia.com/wiki/User:BLUEBIRD/Sandbox?oldid=41508. You would need to know as much as you can about how to differentiate between those different types of errors, and that section can be considered a starting point
If you just want to run the script and review each edit with another edit, we currently have no problem with that. It seems to be beneficial to the articles. Just make sure not to say it's a bot in that case in the edit summaries.
