Faneru is retiring from Nico Nico Douga

Today Nerutan posted his last entry at his blog. He decided to quit all Nico Nico Douga activities (delete twitter, blog, not uploading any covers anymore nor taking part in lives, even not comming to play with Asamack). This time it's his individual choice because he was lacking motivation and wants to devote himself fully to his real life. It's his final decision (it means he's not just on hiatus). Nothing bad happend to him thought, he's still his usual genki self.

Personally I will miss him. His parody covers with Gero was first ones I found and got into nico nico douga. He was always precious member of Asamack family for me. And he was one of the oldest utaite, I think he joined 6,5 years ago. But I want to respect his decission...

D'AWWWW When I saw this I was like NOOOOO~ Of course as a fan I respect his decision too. But at the same time I'm devastated I won't hear him sing anymore... But he hadn't been uploading much anymore so it's not really a surprise to me... He was one of the first utaite I ever became a fan of, too. He, Gero, Piko and Sekihan. Man, I'm so bummed he's quitting. But hey, I do have my other utaite, and it's not like Neru's deleting his old covers. I wish him the best.

Dayum boy. I am so going to miss him dearly after this. His magnet parody with Gero and ASK was the first song that made me a fan of his. Nonetheless, I wish him all the best!

It took me 2 weeks to come to terms with this, and I'd be lying if I said I'm not upset about it still. He's the first Utaite that I got know and love, and he always will be. He apparently did record new covers this year, he just didn't upload them. Asamack streamed them in the broadcast during Nerutan's final appearance with them.

I managed to tune in to Asamack's broadcast when he joined in for the last time before asking them to take away his backstage pass at the end of it.

Jack said he had heard Nerutan mention about leaving Nico Nico Douga prior to his announcement, and Asamaru commented that Nerutan would still be working on music, but both did not comment further on what he would be doing. So who knows, maybe one day we might see his name appear somewhere again. Maybe not on NND.

The comforting thing is that he decided to leave his works on NND for all of us.

I'll miss him so much, but I wish him all the best in what he'll be doing!

I showed my friend Faneru/Gero/ASK's parody of Manet today....we laughed so hard. Finding out about this now makes me sad :( But what can you do? All the best Faneru, we'll miss ya :)

I am highly upset about this because i found out about faneru when it was to late he had a wonderful voice and it saddens me to see him waste his talent and quit (not trying to bash) I hope to see faneru ,in the future, continue music maybe just maybe... he'll continue nnd someday well enough fantasizing Faneru/neru/neru-tan i will miss you and i wish you luck \( T O T )/

Hmm, this kinda surprised me. I just realized that some people really treat being involved in NND as a "hobby" only. What a waste but, good luck for him.
