So, the music video for the track "Rock On" from Nano's new album with the same name dropped yesterday. I feel as though it wasn't exactly as strong as songs like "Sable", but it still sounded pretty decent. Only issues I have is the synthesizers in the background, but the drums sound crisp and the bass accents the drums and guitar very well. Her vocals are on point as always, but I wish my Japanese language skills were good enough to figure out what she was saying. There's also this interesting portion where the song slows down to a ballad-y sort of feel and I felt as if it was sort of out of place. Overall, I felt as though this track was a decent 7/10 mainly because of the synthesizer taking away from the song and making the song sound sort of overproduced. There's also a lot of lead guitar that should not really be there and is taking up space in the soundscape, but that's just me. What are your thoughts?
