I'm not gonna lie but,, I record myself singing the post it on YT and I don't tell anyone. Not my friends, not my family. When I started, being a utaite as a 'secret hobby', I know I can't become famous or things like that because I live with my parents and I want free stuff. In my case, it's I can't buy things rather than I can't afford them. (I can't afford expensive ones tho) and, I use my phone too.. and at first I also think I'll use a mic when I get serious, maybe after high-school, go to college and live alone. But now, I think.. it won't happen to me because I sing for fun like,... I dun care as long as I sing and meet new people kind of feeling.

I myself am totally beginner in singing. I don't join choir and, my expirience is singing when I'm showering xD

Unravel is a pretty hard song to sing, the sudden change of tempo and needs quite a lot of mixing,..  If you're used to singing in English, then I think it's better to sing in English. but If you're more used to singing in Japanese, then it can work out too. From the list, I think it's good to start with yura yura if you're gonna sing Japanese. Just making sure, Yura Yura by HeartGrows?

For mixing, like most people say,it's Audacity. Tho I also use mixpad. Tutorials... I'm sorry but you can search google and youtube... But in my opinion, mixing is about experiments & expierience~~

Yeah, I thought that Yura Yura would be a good starting song. Yes, I mean the one by HeartsGrow. I used to be obsessed with that song (I knew it through Naruto).

I used to make craft tutorials and I had a channel on YouTube, except I deleted all my videos and changed my name to start fresh. I also want to be an odorite, so do you think I can post things on the same channel or would I have to make a separate one? Maybe I'll separate the videos into playlists.

Yura Yura is a pretty easy song to start because... yura yura was one of the very first song I memorized in Japanese and is able to sing. Tho I ended up singing Yobanashi Deceive as my First Cover... That was pretty insane. The tempo and stuff,.. But the problem is, Anime songs are usually blocked by youtube. So I suggest you find a piano or accoustic version of the instrumental.

I suggest you don't make multiple channels because it'll be hard to manage. Like I said, I don't tell anyone I sing. So, I made an account for covering song with my alias. But I still need another account for my real life purpose; like school. Then there is a channel that me and my siblings share, I'm the oldest so I'm the one managing it. You should just seperate them in your playlist.

Do you also have any tips on translating songs from Japanese to English? Do I HAVE to learn Japanese? (I mean, obviously I won't use the Internet, since it's rather unreliable) I'm sort of in the process of learning Japanese.

I message you on YT~ anyway, I think you can use available translyrics like JubyPhonics if  she has the translyric or browse around google; there are a lot of translyric blog out there. But well, if you want your original translyric, You don't have to understand Japanese well. Like Juby herself doesn't really understand Japanese. She finds multiple English Translation online then make her translyric from those translations.

Maybe try Donut Hole? It was fairly easy for me, and if it might be too fast, just try a piano/acoustic version? :3 Japanese, and english for it are pretty equal in dificulty.

If you don't mind could you maybe post some examples of your singing? even a short demo will do! I'm not really well versed in music, so can't understand your range. But if listened to you voice a little bit I think I might be able to help somewhat.

Also do you have any favorite genres of music? that might help pinpoint some songs to sing.

Hm... I like cute songs like PONPONPON, as well as the piano version of A Tale of Six Trillion Years and One Night. I like I don't usually like screamy songs, and I prefer to stay on the more bright or positive side (though some songs I love to much and are exceptions). 

Wooooah... Luschka is so good at singing. She makes me hella jealous. *cries*

I plan to sing ZZZ from Nichijou, because it seems to be the easiest. I tried to sing Hello How are you in the shower this morning and I realised how flexible your voice has to be. Damn it!
