I started posting covers about a year and a half ago to YouTube. It was fun despite the fact I had almost no equipment besides a microphone (no stand or pop filter) at first. I realized after some time that if I actually put all my effort and heart into the singing I started fainting in front of the mike (but only when it was on). I like singing but I'm not that great at it (I'm eternally off key, flat, or something) and I've wanted to do something in the Utaite community for almost six years. But, I'm pretty worthless as a creator for this kind of thing.
I have almost no clue when it comes to video editing
My singing isn't that great
I still have no idea how to actually mix
I've never been any good at music theory ( I mean it. It makes 0 sense to me) so I can't really be a producer
I can draw, but my art isn't that great. Everything I draw is kind of bland so I'd be probably worthless for making art for videos
But, I want to try. I've been doing my best to become confident so I can sing, but I haven't got much better. I want to be able to contribute. The only thing I'm good at is writing lyrics and even then I kind of botch them when I do covers. I really like to sing, and I love music. But, I feel stupid pretending that I'm any good at this when I'm not.
