Heyy :) I'm not an expert on vocals, I'm just gonna give my opinion as someone who's also an aspiring utaite :)
Firstly, I think your voice is great! But your pitch didn't match with the music in the beginning so it sounded kind of jarring to hear, especially when there is harmonisation. You should try matching the pitch of the original vocals, because after the first half your pitch tends to get a bit higher but goes back to the correct pitch again. You could also use some work on harmony as well, as the harmony doesnt really harmonise well (?) with the main vocals.
Also, sometimes you tend to go a bit faster than the actual rhythm so always remember to keep an internal pulse? Try to tap the beat at parts where you know you rush a little.
Overall, I think you're fine. Just make sure to keep the rhythm in mind and work more on your pitching and harmonisation. :)
Heyo! I'm just your friendly little rosie here! \(*^w^*)/ <3
I want to say I LOVE YOUR VOICE! So mUcH potentional!
But there are some pitches that didn't match... ;-; But, anyways I played your song cover and a very popular cover like Mafu's cover (at the same time). Then, I noticed so pitches were little off! So you can work on that!
Overall you did great! ^^
Love you and keep up the good work! ~LittleRose
P.S I'm not a expert just a person who wants to become a great utaite and voice actor!
I have to be honest but MOST of your pitches is off pitch. (At least that's what I heard and do you get what I am saying? XD) I'm not trying to be rude or anything like that but, you should listen closely to the cover... I'm not a expert at this kind of stuff. I think you should have listen to the cover at least a few more times.
But overall, I am glad you put your version of this cover! ヽ(͡◕ ͜ʖ ͡◕)ﾉ
P.S. I am NOT an expert on music.
Thank you for your time to read this short-ish comment. Also, have a good day! -Alyshay
Hi! I listened to your cover and I can tell that you have lots of potential, also stated by previous comments. I'd like to give you some pros and cons of your singing (nothing too rough or harsh because I'm not mean :D) on this song since it requires a lot of power and emotion to cover it! I'm not an expert, of course, but I hope some of these tips do help you!
I really love how you aren't singing too 'airy'. You're not singing with lots of breathing in your singing, which is great for this type of song.
Your mixing is also very interesting! I like how you balanced out the volume of your voice with the music (your voice isn't drowning out the music and the music isn't too quiet).
I can tell you have a very high vocal range (maybe if I'm correct, you can also hit lower notes as well). You don't sound like you're really forcing your vocals to hit a high note which is really good.
There's not a lot of sustain/control of your pitch. You had a lot of pitch variations in your singing which isn't suitable. To avoid pitch variations, you could warm up your voice and try singing one note at a time! This helps to prevent your vocal cords from becoming out of control (or unable to sing properly).
At certain times (especially the chorus), it sounded like you were "screaming" into the mic a bit. Screaming in this case means singing at a louder volume and trying to hit a note while trying to maintain a powerful tone. This song does include singing or yelling for the chorus but for you, it sounded like you were struggling a bit, which is extremely okay! To avoid that "screaming" into the mic con, you could use your chest voice more to project your voice much wider and to leave less stress on your vocal cords.
Lastly, your harmonies were a bit off tune but for the most part it was really decent. You could practice your harmonies by listening to other singer's harmonies or trying to find a note that matches the harmony of the verse/line using a piano!
In all, you did pretty good in this cover. I hope my cons weren't harsh (I tried my best to be informative and tried to convey my own techniques to help you a bit;;) and that you don't take them too heart! If they helped you a bit, I'd be very glad. I'm looking forward to seeing you improve much more in the future!
What do you think?
