So this is a pretty important question. Recently I've noticed that Exit Tunes has been taking down NND songs from other websites, but there not being any direct references to Exit Tunes within nico nico pedia. This hasn't been a problem before because I could usually find a reference in nico nico pedia. In some research, I've seen that there are more producers now working with Exit Tunes. For examples... Neru(yeah the guy who wrote a song about law evading music) was working with Exit Tunes and it seems like they might have given Exit Tunes some of their song rights(although i don't know any specific details). On one hand this seems really annoying for everyone who appreciates NND producers. But I'm also questioning whether or not Exit Tunes is now doing illegal censorship. Because as far as I know, I don't know of any broad contracts between NND and Exit Tunes, and it doesn't quite make sense why Exit Tunes might allow something on NND, but not on other websites that have other policies (youtube-red). I mean...if they are just censoring other websites, doesn't that mean they are just cherry-picking at this point and it's illegal? Or are there wayyyyyy more rights transfers going on from producers over to Exit Tunes than any of us know about? This is difficult to answer especially when we don't have any direct contacts with this japanese producers, and I'm guessing exit tunes isn't going to tell us which producers they are working with specifically or what songs they can use. what do you guys think? Kinda sad to see this internal corruption going on in NND world.
