Kuraiinu (暗い犬) is an American male youtaite mostly known for his English covers of Vocaloid songs, which are known for their high pitches, and anime songs and video game songs, but he also sings in Japanese. He went by the name Chishio/TiSi0 (血潮) after temporarily ceasing his activities in November 2024 but returned. He also had another hiatus in June 2022 due to personal reasons but resumed on December 19, 2022.[1]

He also works as a Vocaloid producer under the name Nijigenki (二次元気)[2], using the Kagamine twins and Hatsune Miku. He has produced 4 songs so far.

He has a smooth, mid-ranged voice that allows him to sing both calmly low and high and intense thanks to his baritone[3] voice type. A good example of a cover where he combines both is Urami no Waltz , as he purposefully puts on a higher voice. In his earlier days he often reached the F5 note while belting.[4]

He collaborates with other youtaite, mostly Rachie and JubyPhonic, among others[5]. He has gotten the chance to collaborate with utaite as well, like his covers with NORISTRY. On occasion, he participates in youtaite choruses[6] and chorus battles[7] with other youtaite. He also mixes for other youtaite.[8] He has also sung DJ-Jo remixes of songs like Mind Brand and Outer Science , and has even made his own arrangements of songs, like his electro swing remixes of Envy Baby and USSEEWA .

  • He is a fan of the utaite Mafumafu, calling him an amazing composer, as can be seen in the description of his cover of Chirp.
  • He loves yaoi[9] and likes to cover Vocaloid songs about yaoi, like ＋♂ by Giga, Confessions of a Rotten Girl by SAWTONE etc. The first yaoi he watched was Sukisho! can't stop loving you and he watched it all the way through in one sitting in high school.[10]
