"Senbonzakura", composed by KurousaP

Kyounosuke (杏ノ助), better known as Kyounosuke Yoshitate (佳館杏ノ助, Yoshitate Kyounosuke) is a trans male utaite and freelance singer most known for his "Kayōkyoku" (Shōwa era pop) style of singing. He is the voice provider for the VOCALOID Nekomura Iroha.

He often sings anime songs and VOCALOID songs as well as traditional-style songs, with the latter also being arranges of VOCALOID songs, like the traditional-Japanese-style arrangement of "Senbonzakura"Nv. In a tweet replying to a fan, he stated that he started his singing career when he was 15.

Before he started his voice change due to HRT, he had a wide vocal range spanning over 4 octaves.[1] He often uses "kobushi" oranamentation technique and different styles of vibrato, for example a wavering one, such as in "TOKIO FUNKA"Nv or a fast one, like in "Kamisama Nejimaki"Nv.

Kyounosuke is noted to have a mature timbre and great vocal ability, his mellow voice going well with traditional sounding songs, such as in the traditional arrange of the Touhou song "Bad Apple!!"Nv, his powerful and solid voice fitting fast songs well, such as his collab cover with Hashiyan, "Odoroshi Rider"Nv or his cover of "Jiyuu no Tsubasa"Nv, and also being good at singing in a soothing tone as in "Onzou Sanatorium"Nv.

Another remarkable ability of him, is his proficiency in rolling his tongue which he often employs for more upbeat songs, most prominently seen in his cover of "Babylon"Nv.

On 23 December 2020, Kyounosuke publicly came out as a transgender man on his YouTube Channel; his gender had been greatly debated and discussed prior to this. He is currently on gender affirming HRT.

In January 2021 he started a Youtube subchannel, where he discusses LGBTQ+ related issues.

Since March 1st 2023 he has been signed with the voice acting agency Rush Style.

He is a member of a unit Bangetsu Tei, where he provides vocals and his younger sister Fuyu is a songwriter. Bangetsu Tei's original albums feature songs based on lives of Japanese historical figures.
