Sapphire is a YouTube singer, translyricist and sound mixer, with a full, powerful and mature voice in the higher ranges.
She mainly sings English renditions of anime songs and her most popular solo cover is her English cover of the Kill la Kill opening "Sirius" , with over 158K views on YouTube as of May 2014.
On occasion, she commissions musicians to record instrumental versions of anime songs which were never given official instrumental versions.
Sapphire has often collaborated with Y. Chang, and many other YouTubers, including Apatheria, Rikatwoo, Merr, and Steven Kelly. They have made appearances in her songs, as well as in her webcomic fandubs.
In addition to singing anime songs, she also does fandubs for webcomics.
In November 2013, her YouTube channel was suspended. It was restored after a few weeks, due to her taking charge of the situation and standing up for the content of the channel.[citation needed]
